The New England Stock Exchange
The New England Stock Exchange is a gathering of pieces that have lived a life long before today. Items such as antiques, vintage finds, and pre-loved treasures have been chosen for their beauty, usefulness, and timeless character.
Each object reflects the quiet tradition of passing good things from one home to another (which I found out in the colonial era was called a Vendue), a practice deeply rooted in New England households where quality was cherished and nothing of value was wasted.
Some may show gentle signs of age, which I consider to be part of their charm. They carry the patina of previous hands and the energy of the rooms they once belonged to; they are ready now to continue their story with you in your home.
Please read and look carefully at all of the information and photos. We will always make note of any known defect in the description and we will also share it in the photos. Feel free to email us with questions since all of our New England Stock Exchange Items are final sale.
