This design style showcases the rich heritage, design styles, and items one might have found in New England's historic homes, inns, and taverns, while incorporating design influences and products from the original 13 colonies, the British Isles and Western Europe. The Grand Union style is also a thoughtful curated blend " or a grand union" of family heirlooms, found pre-loved items, and a few new items that work together seamlessly. This style evokes old-world charm, timeless relaxed elegance, family heritage, yet offers modern comfort.
A home decorated in that Grand Union style is welcoming, approachable, and meant to be enjoyed by family and friends vs a home full of museum quality items that have a don't touch or don't use feel.

I also believe that life should be lived fully, whether in simple, quiet ways or more grand moments. Those passions grew into a lifelong career, and now my passions are also here, in this online shop, where I curate home, garden, and lifestyle goods inspired by my life in and love of New England.
I am a lifelong entrepreneur, beginning as a child selling flowers, small finds, and even hand-drawn magazines door-to-door. For the past forty years, I have worked as an interior designer, shop owner, publisher, and lifestyle content creator, often running my interior design business, retail shop, and home, garden, and lifestyle magazine concurrently. That experience shapes how I curate every item you find here.

These are goods I use myself, would gift to family or close friends, or I truly believe will add beauty, comfort, and meaning to everyday life.
